Infographic: BlackBerry PlayBook vs. Dell Streak 7 vs. Apple iPad vs. Motorola Xoom

After our in-depth Droid Bionic vs. iPhone 4 vs. Thunderbolt infographic that made its way across the web, we could not resist making another. Tablets absolutely stole the spotlight at CES 2011, making it an undoubtedly perfect time to compare the latest offerings. After some debate, we settled on these three upcoming tablets: the BlackBerry PlayBook, the Dell Streak 7, and the Motorola Xoom. For some perspective with a familiar face, we threw in the Apple iPad for reference. Even though the hardware is nearly a year old, it has butchered competition selling over 7.33 million units in just Q4 of 2010 making it the best-selling tablet on the market.

The picture is quite long and in depth.  Click on it to see full image.

Dell Offers Xbox 360 Elite For $300 And Arcade For $179

For some of you luck bastards that wanted to wait for the best price for an Xbox 360, its time to jump on the band wagon. Dell is offering the Xbox 360 Elite for $300, which is a steal. But if you're one of those absolute cheap penny pinching gamers, you can pick up a Xbox 360 Arcade, bundled with Madden '09 for $179.

Just go to Dells site and plug in the coupon code (5Z051006DSW7DJ) for the Elite, and (GNZ5SVNKLJ8924) for the Arcade. Hey Dell will even throw in free shipping, so you've got no excuse for not picking one up.

Dell Offering Xbox 360 Elite For $299 (WSL)

If you're looking to pick up a Xbox 360 Elite, you might want to head over to Dell's site. For a while Dell was bundling up their XPS M1730 machines with the Elites, but if you didn't have $3000 you were out of luck.

Not anymore.....

Now Dell is bundling up the Elite all by itself for $299, and throwing in two ugly faceplates, Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. That's a savings of $150, but you better get over there quick while they have them.

Thanks to Engadget for this info..

New MacBooks Cheaper Than Dell?

Proving that hell isn’t immune to this crappy ass winter, I came across this gem below:

FROM FAKESTEVE.BLOGSPOT.COM: Some Wall Street dudes ran the numbers and even made a chart. We're at $1,099. The comparable machine from Dell costs $1,119. And it comes with Vista Home Premium. Can someone please tell me why we don't have 90% market share? Or at least, like, 50%? Anyone? Bueller?

Flame on kids, flame on!

Dell's Hot Monitor Is Now Available: Second Morgage Needed

Dell has teased us with this beautiful 22-inch LCD monitor for some time now, always saying that it is just a concept design and not for sale. Well it seems that they've changed their minds about it all, and this baby will be shipping in a few days from now. The 1680x1050 (WSXGA+) with the built in speakers that float in the crystal settings has a webcam, DVI, HDMI connectivity, TrueColor Technology, 2 ms response, and a 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.

But you better bring you long pants for this one, because it's going to set you back $1199. Which is a little crazy considering that Dell has 22-inch LCD monitors with the same resolution for $300. But if you're interested in picking up one of these, you're most likely a baller, and that $1200 price tag is just a joke to you anyway.

It's nice to see that Apple isn't the only company interested in a good design.

Jump on this bargain now.

OK. For those who may remember earlier this month when I told everyone about these hot new video cards, they're here. I got mine already, an EVGA 8800GT 512MB, mainly since they have a lifetime warranty, and that warranty is transferrable. So when the next new hotness comes out, I can sell it with confidence. But this may be one of the best bargains I've seen so far. Dell.com has the MSI NX8800GT-T2D512E-OC for only ........ $207.99. A cool 80 bucks under what I paid for mine. The only catch is that it is only shipping in about 1 to 2 weeks, but if you can stand the wait, I encourage all of you to take advnatage of this bargain. So far, video performance with this card is extrordinary. Plus mine came with a free copy of Crysis, and I couldn't play the demo at too high a resolution, but I anticipate cranking this baby up. Neverwinter Nights 2 has never performed as well as it does now (btw, this game has beautiful spell effects when you crank all the settings up). Lord of the Rings Online and World of Warcraft just look stunning.
UPDATE: There is also an XFX 8800GT 512 Card at Dell also for only $234.68. Little more reliablemanufacturer.

You get a 40GB PS3, Spider-man 3 on Blu-Ray, Ratchet and Clank Future: TOD, and a HDMI cable all for $399.

Like I said, this isn't going to make you pee your pants, but if you're going to get a PS3, why not get the free stuff with it.

Apple To Competitors: You Suck

I love the guys at Crunchgear, they certainly keep it real!!!

I do find it a little strange why the guys at Apple love to rub competitors noses in what ever Apple does best. Case in point this quote: “Our competitors couldn’t design an attractive-looking computer if their lives depended on it.”

That's why this comparison is so funny. Don't get me wrong the new Mac looks great, but like one of the guys at Crunchgear said: "isn’t the Dell box expandable? How about we compare a penguin and a bald eagle? I mean, they’re both birds…"

LOL

Very good. Check it out here. [Crunchgear]

Dell Comes with a New Line Up

Dell has revamped their on-line store, and has introduced their first line of color notebooks.

The prize of the notebook fleet would be the XPS M1330 notebook, which is a 13.3-inch notebook. Dell claims that it is the thinnest in the world, but it will not be offered until July 27th. And you can expect that the price will be near $3000 for the Core 2 Duo T7500 Processor at 2.2GHz and all the other bells and whistles that go along with it.

Dell: Linux party starts Thursday

Looks like Dell's coming out party is Thursday.

Dell will be introducing their new Linux based computer, and users will be able to order Ubuntu pre-load on a new Dell E520 Dimension desktop, Inspiron 1505 consumer laptop, or XPS 410 media rigs.

Although Dell wouldn't confirm the release date, they did confirm the computers will have the default software (including kernel and apps) from Ubuntu's 7.04 "Feisty Fawn" media.

While I'm sure Dell's move won't likely cause any grief to Microsoft, this at least gives credit to Linux moving into the mainstream consumers

Dell's Display Port Prototype Will Allow for Resolutions 4x Better Than HD

Check out Dell's new sexy LCD display. It measures about half an inch thick and packs a resolution that's 4x sharper than the current HDTV resolutions. It's part of Dell's new Display Port technology.

It will allow you to daisychain multiple monitors and connect other peripherals via one bi-directional cable. It can be used with notebook displays, and it is due out later this year.

And if this is a sign of what's to come, I can't wait!!!

Check it out after the jump.

Dell XPS 720: Outed!!!

Looks like a Dell employee has taken it upon himself to tease us with the upcoming XPS 720 system, which is set to succeed the pricey XPS 710 series.

The employee who goes by the name of "Dell-Bill B" revealed that the system will be based on NVIDIA's nForce 680i SLI chipset, and that it'll be available with your choice of Conroe or Kentsfield processors, with a QX6700 Kentsfield the top option at the moment (although that's apparently "subject to change").

Although nothing is set in stone, this could be rolling out as soon as May 21st.

Dealmobell: Sony Cybershot DSC-S650 for $99

Dell home has another solid deal for you!!!

A Sony Cybershot DSC-S650 digital camera has made its way onto Cow Bell Tech. Anytime you offer us a chance to own cool gadgets at a reasonable price, we will 'love you long time'!!!

The DSC-S650 is a small digital camera with a 7.2-megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom, 2.0-inch LCD and 24MB of internal memory. The one downside is that it does not include a manual viewfinder, but nobody uses those nowadays anyway.

It regularly sells for $150, but Dell has this baby for $99 after a $50 instant savings.

I love instant savings!!!
