Blackberry Bold To Launch With iTunes Syncing Ability

The new Blackberry Bold (formally the 9000) will cater to more than just the business suits, as it will ship with RIM's yet to be released Blackberry Media Sync. This software will allow you to sync your new Blackberry with your iTunes. This should make this one of the most popular Blackberry on the market.

RIM Files For Patent On New Blackberry Keyboard

If you've been blowing your friends away with how fast you can text on a Blackberry, you're about to take it up a notch. RIM has filed for a patent on the newest angular style keyboard that is said to improve accuracy and speed with a more natural feel. The design is similar to the ergonomic keyboards that most desktop users are working with.

No word on when (or if) this design might make it to the streets, but RIM wanted to make sure that no one else takes the idea.

Blackberry Curve 8310 With GPS: Not In The U.S.

I am in absolute love with the Blackberry Curve, which is why I'm so glad that I haven't bought one yet.

RIM announced today the new 8310 Curve which will have GPS built in, something that most geeks want and need. So not only did they make one of the most sexy looking Blackberry, they also put in something that should be included in any smartphone (hello iphone).

The only problem is that this is only available in Germany, bastards!!!

But it will not always be this way, as I'm sure that the 8310 will make its way state side sometime this year. So I will save my money and wait.

But if you're in Germany, this baby can be yours through Vodafone for 99 Euro now.
Thanks for the info Crunchgear.

Wi-Fi Enabled Blackberry 8820

So who's ready for the first Wi-Fi enabled Blackberry?

I know that I am, and this monster comes loaded with the goods! The Wi-Fi enabled 8820 is the thinnest Blackberry to date and comes with a full QWERTY keypad, and is the first dual based Blackberry to have EDGE/GPRS/GSM and Wi-Fi connectivity over 802.11 a/b/g. I bet you're thinking 'What about security?' Well they've got you covered there with protocols of WEP, WPA, WPA2, and IPSec-based software for you VPN users.

But this baby isn't all work. It also comes with a Roxio based media player, and a microSD/SDHC slot that can support up to 32GB. Now that's getting it done! But for me, the best part is the built in GPS in the unit!!! Hello iphone!

Available only at AT&T.

The only down part? No 3G! Come on Rim! You almost had me at Hello!

Get A Blackberry Curve For $49 Without Hassle

If you’re in the market for a new phone and the Blackberry Curve has caught your eye, don’t go walking into an AT&T store just yet. Amazon is offering the device for a cheap-as-hell $49 without any rebates whatsoever. Yup, just plug in your credit card, place an order, and you’ve got yourself a Curve for under fifty bucks.

One slight problem. If you break AT&T’s terms of service agreement in 181 days after the purchase, you get hit with a $250 fee from Amazon in addition to the normal fees AT&T will charge you. So tread carefully on this amazing deal.

Blackberry: Fin!

I love the French.

Top French government officials have been told that they are no longer to use BlackBerry devices for fears that foreigners could spy on them. The Le Monde newspaper reported that worker's in the President and Prime minister office were told that their email could fall into foreign hands.

France security SGDN , states that the BlackBerries use U.S. and U.K. Based servers. And that the risk is just too high. But some of the officials are bucking the system and using them anyway.

"They tried to offer us something else to replace our Blackberries but it doesn't work," one unnamed official told the paper.

No BlackBerry for you!!!

Oh well, Viva Le France

Blackberry 8300 Hits AT&T June 13: Maybe

The rumor mill is working overtime and I would take this definitely with a grain of salt. But a launch date for the Blackberry Curve has been floating around and June 13 is when the latest RIM wonder will hit the streets.

There are also rumors about a launch party for the Curve on June 8th here in NYC.

Nothing is confirmed though, but we’re keeping an ear to the ground.
Stay tuned.
