Diablo 3 Class preview
Looks like that mysterious splash screen that Blizzard had everyone in an uproar over was indeed the announcement of Diablo 3. And it looks incredible. Here's a video of the gameplay of the different classes.

Pixar's Wall-E looks fun
OK. I love animated movies and especially CGI movies, and nobody is better than Pixar. This movie looks like it'll be an absolute riot. I'm looking forward to it even more now.

Wii Does More Than Play Games
How the Wii has saved lives and changed the world!!!
Not really, but it's an interesting use for the game console. I'm curious how Jack Thompson will spin this into how these people will now become crazed killers.

Back To School Laptops

Now that it's time to go back to school for some of you, Seth Porges from Crunchgear put together a nice list of laptops for the broke ass student. The list is a nice collection of affordable lapies and brakes down what a student may be looking for. I know that this sounds like something that is simple to do, but not everyone knows what to look for in a laptop.
Check it out after the cut. [Crunchgear]

Wizard Comic Conventions
If you're a fan of Comics and live in the Chicagoland area, World of Wizard will have their version of Comic-Con August 10th - August 12th. They will also be in the Texas (no word on where) November 16th - 18th. While Texas gets plenty of great artists, the Chicago convention will get Tricia Helfer from the hit show Battlestar Galactica.

Fracture Demo From E3
G4TV's Adam Sessler talks with studio president Denny Thorley about an innovative third person shooter called 'Fracture'. The game allows you too morph, deform and mold the terrain in the environment. If you like the 'Gears of War' type of games, you might want to take a look at this.
It's pretty cool.
Thanks G4TV!

iphone: Going on Tour

So it's a Friday, and you're board out of your mind at work. You could find more life fulfilling labor intense work that is sure to please your boss. Or you can head over to Apple's site where they have a 20 minute overview tour of the iphone!!!
I can't think of a better way to burn 20 minutes.
This is the best chance to see what this baby can do, before standing in line for hours with the hope of picking up one. The video is pretty cool, giving us an overview of the visual voice mail (which I think is outstanding). And the way the iphone and the ipod feature is integrated together is brilliant. It has tons of in depth information on the Jesus phone, and it is certainly worth you time.
Check out the site after the jump. [Apple.com]

Cow Bell Deal: Logitech Harmony 659, $50

Tiger Direct, via Amazon, has this remote for $50 without any rebates or other BS. If you are looking for an excellent high-end universal remote without having to drop over a hundo, I would recommend this one. My dad even has one, and if he can work it, anyone can.
With the Harmony remotes there is no need for knowing any remote codes of your TV, set-top box or audio equipment. You simply attach the remote to a computer and tell the Harmony software what products you use, how you use them and the remote will do the rest.
How cool is that!!!
