I've had my share of USB card readers, which sometimes are a much better choice than hooking your camera up to your computer. It reads much faster and gives you more options to connect other cards. But this super USB card reader is for the geek that wants their cake, and eat it to. The multi-function dock from Brando can handle your SATA drives and a bunch of different types of storage cards (SD, MiniSD, CompactFlash, MicroSD, Memory Stick). It all can be yours for $79.00, which compared to others like it is a bit high, but it's not to bad. If you need to swap SATA drives often, this might be one that you might want to look at.

Apple Shows Off New Docking Patent For Slim Macbooks

Never let it be said that Apple doesn't come up with great ideas and designs. Such is the case with the new docking station for the ultra-light, ultra-slim MacBooks that are rumored to be coming out. The docking station allows you to slide a MacBook into its side horizontally. The patent shows you how it works, from top to bottom.

iMirror ipod Dock: Cool Name/ Cool Dock

Another ipod dock has made its way to the market, and I know what you're thinking: "So What?" Well the makers of "Bevy's iMirror", the newest ipod dock does a couple of things that most do not. One, the remote actually charges behind the ipod, which is convenient. And two, unlike most remotes that have a LCD display, this remote syncs up your playlist from your ipod. This way, there is no lag time while accessing the playlist wirelessly like other ipod docks. Thus the name iMirror.

And it's not bad looking!!!

iHome Is Out With The iH8

I've been using the original iHome for almost a year now, and I have to say that the sound from this device is very impressive, considering how small the speakers are.

Well iHome has introduced the new iH8, which doesn't look quite as good as the first one, in fact it just looks like a speaker with an ipod dock built into it. Other than the extra speaker it's very plain, and not a whole lot to look at.

I'm sure they're going to stick you up for about $100 on this, but hopefully the sound is as good as the original. Consider it if you don't need to fill up an entire room full of sound.
