The truth on the iPhone

Great iPhone commercial. That being said, I just went to the AT&T store again and just placed an order for a 16gig iPhone in black. I'll be dammned if I wait in a longer line at the Apple Store than I was in at AT&T on launch day and it's almost a week later.

A PS3 Commercial That's Not Weird: For Real

A Playstation 3 commercial that actually makes sense. No floating babies bleeding from their eyes or anything like that.

I know.... I'm as amazed as you are!

PC World's Article Turned Into Mac vs PC Ad

Who knew that the PC World article that said that Vista runs the fastest on a Macbook Pro, would be immortalized with a "Get a Mac" commercial. I'm sure the editors of PC World didn't, and I'm wondering with the way benchmarks change so quickly if it's still accurate.

Is it funny? Yes. But it certainly would be nice if Apple would use some of that "Innovation" crap that they parade around so much to come up with a new commercial campaign. Come on Apple, you have almost 30 of these same format commercials in the hoper, lets do something else.

Apple Purchases U.K. Kid's ipod Touch Video

Now how cool is this!!!

Nick Haley took some clips from Apple's website and put it to some hot music, and the next thing you know, he's getting an email from Apple saying "we’ve seen what you have produced and we’d like a chat with you." Apple's ad agency took what Nick put together and cleaned it up "professionally" but didn't deviate from the original, save for some polished editing. Now you'll see this kid's video this Sunday during the NFL games and the World Series.

Not bad kid if you're trying to break into the business.

Level Up And Lose Out

I have to admit that this is one of the funniest game commercials that I've seen. The commercial is for a game called 'Fury', and I get the feeling they are taking a shot at the World of Warcraft fans.

'Attention all geeks!!!! If you're lucky enough to have a girl friend, don't lose her while level grinding!!!' Don't worry guys, it is SFW to play.

TiVo announces most-watched commercials service

TiVo has announced a new service for advertisers and those interested in tracking commercial viewership, the Top Commercial Rankings reports, which is based on info gleaned using TiVo's StopWatch feature that tracks viewer behavior second-by-second. The feature has TiVo compiling reports for April and May on metrics like the top commercials watched overall (Disturbia and Ford trucks), or the least fast-forwarded campaigns (FedEx and Samsung Jitterbug). The report includes interesting insight into how viewers watch television, even timeshifted programs, and should provide advertisers more information about how to maximize their impact. Now to get this report to studio execs to keep them from blaming DVRs for the downfall of their industry.
