LG KS20 To Hit The States

LG is is coming to America!!!

Well at least their new iphone style LG KS20 that's been a Europe exclusive is coming to America. This gorgeous smartphone has 3G for GSM, Bluetooth, Windows Mobile 6, a touch screen with a stylist, and Wi-Fi. It's rumored to also carry the 2 megapixel camera with flash and support video. It's expected to hit state late first quarter, and should have a price tag of about $300 with a contract.

LG Design Art series: Hot & Sexy!!!

Check out the new look of LG's new line called the LG Design Art series. The LF75 and LB75 LCD TVs are absolutely beautiful and have 3 HDMI outputs, and the champaign glass like speakers are hot!

The new sets are on a balancing ring and come in sizes of 37, 42, 47 and 52-inch, while only the LF75s has 1080p with 10,000:1 contrast ratio. The LB75 only has 720p/1080i and 8,000:1 contrast ratio, but does support 1080p input coming at 32 and 26 inches.
No word on pricing yet.

If I was in the market, I would seriously consider these.

LG LN790: GPS Love

Getting lost sucks!!!

But it doesn't have to happen any longer, with some of the high-end GPS systems out there. The LG LN790 takes it to a new level, with some of the best functions. Not only does it keep you from getting lost, but it can help bypass traffic delays, take hands-free calls via Bluetooth, and have the ability to play back music and photos. It also comes with a steering wheel remote, and gives you turn by turn voice guidance with street name announcements.

LG Is In The Black

Look at this beautiful LG Shine Titanium Black phone! It just screems 'I've got to much money to spend on a phone'. But you know what? You won't have to worry about that if you live in the U.S. because this isn't coming here!!! Damn it!!!

This has 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE and MP3 player. I would be upset over the EDGE if it was coming here, but oh..well. It is due out at the end of the month in the UK, France, Netherlands and Austria.

LG Sues Hitachi: 'Hands off my patent you damn dirty ape!'

LG has filed suit in Texas against television-manufacturer Hitachi, claiming that the company is violating patents LG holds. LG is seeking the big bucks and an injunction to halt the sale and production of any television sets that violate patents.

The dispute is over patents relating to plasma display panel development, which I’m assuming has to do with the displays of several TVs.

LG's Washing Machine Has an iPod Dock: Huh?

In another effort of taking advantage of fads, LG has presented this Gem!!!

Of all the worst things I've seen an ipod dock stuck into, this has to be the worst. LG's patent for a washing machine "Home appliance with MP3 player" loads a dock for the iPod/Zune on the top along with speakers and what looks like a powerline networking adapter with a slot for a USB port.

The thing is, who spends the entire 40 minutes cycle in front of the washer?

This one makes no sense.

New Texting Champion

Thought you were a fast texter with your Blackberry or side kick? Well not so much!! Electronics company LG has crowned the first ever National Texting Champion.

13-Year-old Morgan Pozgar successfully and accurately typed the message, 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocios' in under 42 seconds and didn't misspell a word while doing it. Teens from around the country competed in texting competitions for the right to show off their skills in the final championship round held in New York city yesterday.

Pozgar sends an average of 4000 texts a month (yeah, you heard that right) and by the time she had been announced as the winner of the competition, she had already texted all her friends to let them know she had won, texted them again to tell them that she had won $25,000 and then texted them again to let them know that her mood was "chipper."

Some words of advise to her parents: 'Unlimited texting plan'!!!
