Nintendo Wants To Take Your Pulse…. And Your Money

You know, I’ve made jokes about the Wii being designed for little kids and old people for some time now, but I never thought that they would prove me right. Nintendo followed up Microsoft’s “Project Natal” announcement with…….. Nintendo Wii Vitality?

What the hell?!!!

It’s a finger sensor that attaches to the Wiimote and reads your pulse, presumably while playing a game or using WiiFit. Nintendo has not stated how exactly this will be used, but I can’t believe that THIS was their big announcement of E3! I can see the benefit to senior citizens who are trying not to have a grabber while playing bowling, but it doesn’t make sense to most gamers.

What I find amazing is that on the heels of “Project Natal”, Nintendo comes up with something that I can find on the treadmill at any health club.

Video Of Stupid “I Am Rich” Application

Some idiot genius came up with the most expensive app for the iphone called “I Am Rich”, to take advantage of the stupid. This $1000.00 app does nothing other than having a glowing gem like light that tells you that you’re rich. Now I try not to make fun of rich people mainly because you never know if you’ll end up working for them, and I certainly would like to be one.

But if you bought this app…….. You’re a moron!!!

There’s just no other way to describe it. Take a look at the complexity of this app in the video above.

Norton Antivirus update: whoopss!!!

I hope any of our readers haven't updated Norton Antivirus on a Windows XP machine in the last few days. On May 17th the Norton database was upgraded and by noon millions of users’ PCs were crashing. Norton’s latest update accidentally tagged two essential system files as viruses and cleared them away.

This prompted the 'Blue screen of death' followed by an error message regardless of rebooting the PC. Symantec has acknowledged that the upgrade was mishandled and that they’re working on a solution to better monitor such upgrades.Symantec has acknowledged that the upgrade was mishandled and that they’re working on a solution to better monitor such upgrades.

In other words, somebody is gonna get fired!!!
