Project Natal Preview

Travel behind closed doors at Tokyo Game Show 2009 as Morgan Webb gets to try Project Natal, the new motion control technology from Microsoft, with Kudo Tsunoda the project's creative director.

Plus there’s the added bonus of seeing Morgan Webb jump around wearing a little dress.  Go ahead and call me a pig, you all are thinking the same thing.

Nintendo Wants To Take Your Pulse…. And Your Money

You know, I’ve made jokes about the Wii being designed for little kids and old people for some time now, but I never thought that they would prove me right. Nintendo followed up Microsoft’s “Project Natal” announcement with…….. Nintendo Wii Vitality?

What the hell?!!!

It’s a finger sensor that attaches to the Wiimote and reads your pulse, presumably while playing a game or using WiiFit. Nintendo has not stated how exactly this will be used, but I can’t believe that THIS was their big announcement of E3! I can see the benefit to senior citizens who are trying not to have a grabber while playing bowling, but it doesn’t make sense to most gamers.

What I find amazing is that on the heels of “Project Natal”, Nintendo comes up with something that I can find on the treadmill at any health club.

Microsoft Intros "Project Natal", Nintendo Pisses Pants

Microsoft kicked off the E3 2009 with a bang this year with one of the most intriguing previews in recent history. The new technology code named "Project Natal" was introduced today with the fanfare that truly deserves. Taking what the Wii has done, and going one step further, "Project Natal" looks like it could turn the gaming world on its ear.

The new system will work with every Xbox 360 and stands to knock the Wii on its ass for interactive gaming!!!

Pricing is rumored to be about $200 and there's no word on when it will be available.

This thing is hot!!!
