Blackberry Thunder Out And About

While the world is getting ready for the anouncement of the new iphone 2, RIM is doing its best to upstage the party. Boy Genius Report has photos of the said iphone killer called the "Blackberry Thunder", which was conveniently made available a day before the iphone announcement. It's said to be scheduled to drop in Setember, and will be exclusive to Verizon wireless.

This might be good news to some who's reception with AT&T sucks, and won't have the option of the iphone.

Sony just announced the sticky-sweet Cyber-shot DSC-T2 compact camera. I just got the predecessor to this camera and I absolutely love it. At that price point, I can see these being very popular.

Samsung's gorgeous F700 has a release date in Europe and a carrier to boot. The touch-screen smartphone will hit the streets of Euro in November and will have Vodaphone as the lucky carrier. • HSDPA 3.6 Mbps, EDGE
  • 900/1800/1900 MHz + 2.1GHz
  • 3 Megapixel camera with Auto-Focus

The New ipod 'Touch'

Ladies and Gentlemen................ The new ipod 'Touch', the 6 Generation ipod has blessed us with its first appearance. It looks like the iphone only without the phone part, and comes with 22 hours of audio playback and 5 hours for video. It has a 3.5 inch widescreen with multi-touch for beautiful video and cover flow (like the iphone), built-in WiFi. 802.11b/g, Safari for web browsing, and comes in 8GB for $299 and 16GB for $399.

This thing is bad as hell, but that's a lot of money for only 8GB and 16GB.

Where's the rest of my GB Steve????

Thanks to Crunchgear for this information.

Wintek To Supply Apple's ipod Touch Screen?

And the rumors keep on coming!!!

A Taiwanese-based company has been rumored to be the supplier for the new touch screen ipod due this fall. Apple is set to launch a new generation ipod this August, and Wintek (is rumored) to create the touch screen that is similar to the iphone.

Of course Wintek declined to comment on the news citing customer confidentiality. Which makes me think that there is something to this rumor.

HTC Touch Adds Finger Groping to Windows Mobile 6

Previously known as the Elf, the HTC Touch is the next generation in the Taiwanese company's line of Windows Mobile phones. The Touch takes Windows Mobile 6 which is already pretty usable and integrates what everyone's fawning over the iPhone and the Prada for: finger touching.

The specs: 2.8-inch touchscreen at QVGA resolution, 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM, 1GB microSD card (included), 2-megapixel camera, Windows Mobile 6, tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, and dimensions of 99.9mm x 58mm x 13.9mm (3.9in x 2.2in x 0.5mm). It's also available in two colors, soft black or wasabi. Yes. Wasabi.

The Touch is on sale now in the UK and should be available in the US in the second half of '07

Stay tuned.
