Mario's Mistake

I saw this picture and I just had to share it.  If you need it explained, then you're probably too young.  Or just not geeky enough.  LOL

Luke's Last Supper

This is what you get when you capture 69,550 full resolution frames from the six Star Wars movies and combine them with a version of DaVinci's Last Supper on a PC with mosaic-making software and a custom matlab-based algorithm. The 262-megapixel mosaic (24,168 x 10,864 pixels) took two weeks to complete, including 30 hours of computing power and manual retouching for the final version. Avinash Arora, the guy who did it, tells us about the process.

Since his dad is in it, I assume that barbecue was not served? Sorry...couldn't resist.

Zune 3 phone: iphone Killer?

You just knew that this was coming, but I'm hopeful that Microsoft actually pulls it off. Specs and a photo of what possibly could be the Zune 3 phone are making the rounds on the Internet. With how popular the iphone is, this was an obvious move for Microsoft, and the hopes that this could be the iphone killer everyone is looking for.

The Zune 3 will have a full touch screen, Wi-Fi, IE, and will be available in 16GB and 32GB flash drives. It will also have a high quality, scratch resistant, touch-sensitive glass, and unlike the iphone, will not be restricted to one cell phone carrier. Nothing about if the phone will be 3G capable or not as of yet.

No word on availability or pricing, but we'll keep an eye out for this one.

Empire Online has unveiled the new look of the Joker, and as you can see, he has that signature killing smile. The mass murderous clown is played by Heath Ledger, who will be the nemesis of Christian Bale's Batman.

Aliens vs Predator: REQUIEM: First Picture

IGN has the first picture for the new Aliens vs Predator: REQUIEM have made it to the Internet. This movie is rumored to have a darker setting than the last movie from 2004, and will have a Rated-R release compared to the Rated-PG-13 of the first movie.

I hope that this translates into a better movie than the first one, but I won't hold my breath.

Aliens vs Predator: REQUIEM will street on December 25, 2007.

Thanks to IGN and Mania for this info.

New Batman Dark Knight Pictures!

Ok, normally I don't like long huge posts. But considering that we are unable to create subposts (yet), and because I think Cowbell Tech readers might find these interesting, I'm going to put this one up. Courtesy of Herospy.com

Halo 3: New Ride For The Master Chief

If you're jones'n for some Halo 3 news, you've come to the right place. IGN has posted some new pics of the eagerly awaited game, and the new vehicle call 'The brute chopper' has me ready to head to the store to reserve my copy.

There are also some new gadgets such as the new grenade called the 'Jammer' and unlockable helmets and armor. No word if the armor change is just cosmetic or if it's any stronger than the normal armor.

I can't wait to play this game.
