KITT in your car

I already have a GPS unit but I'll be dammed if I'm not throwing it out because the guys at Mio have come up with a Knight Rider branded GPS unit with voice prompts by the one and only KITT William Daniels. Apparently, you will recognize his familiar voice as soon as you fire it up and hear "Hello Michael, where do you want to go today?" As an added touch, the display is flanked by a series of red LEDs that mimic KITTs hood-mounted lights. Further details are scarce, but we do know the Mio Knight Rider GPS will retail for $299 when it is finally released.

First Pictures Of The New KITT: Knight Rider TV Series

Well if you've been looking forward to the new mullet look of NBC's reboot of Knight Rider, you might be a little surprised. The new Knight Industries Two Thousand or KITT will no longer be a Tran Am, but now a Shelby GT500KR Mustang. Now don't get me wrong, I like the new mustang, but Knight Rider without a Trans Am? Just wrong!

Couldn't they come up with a cool Trans Am concept car?

Oh well...... Maybe the acting will be good. Oh who am I kidding.

Knight Rider Returning To TV

I've always hated when a TV network makes an attempt at to cash in on the trails of another hit movie or TV show. But it's really bad when they've taken two of my favorite shows and are trying to combine them both into one show. Case in point is NBC's plans to bring back the show "Knight Rider", but with transforming cars.

Yes, the plan is to have 'evil' transforming cars face off with a transforming "KITT" car. So have network producers completely run out of ideas or are they just getting lazy? Come on guys, you get paid a lot of money to come up with ideas, try to think of something new.

Knight Rider: The Movie

Anyone who grew up in the '80s remembers a little show called 'Knight Rider' with David Hasselhoff as the star of the show. Actually he wasn't the star, the true star was a talking car that could do amazing things.

Well you know how Hollywood is on remakes, so it was only a matter of time. No word on if the 'hoff' will be in the movie or if he'll be done with rehab for that matter. But the poster for the movie has hit the Internet.

The movie is scheduled for release in 2008.
