RIM CEO About Blackberry Storm “know nobody gets it perfect out the door”

I don’t know why I find such entertainment by things like this but whenever I hear “iPhone Killer” by someone describing a new smartphone, it’s like the kiss of death. So it makes be giggle a little to hear CEO Mike Lazaridis of RIM during an interview with Laptop Mag put out this little gem about the Blackberry Storm “That's our first touch product, and you know nobody gets it perfect out the door. You know other companies were having problems with their first releases."

Wow!!!

Why not just tell all the early adopters of the Storm that they’ve purchased an imperfect piece of crap? This doesn’t give me or anyone else a lot of confidence in purchasing any type of new technology from RIM. He goes on to bash Apple for its inability to get Push Email out from launch, which strikes me as just sad.

Let’s spend a little more time working out that buggy ass phone and a little less on attacking Apple about the iPhone. Apple has gotten it right more than they’ve gotten it wrong.
