The 'Next' good movie?

Nicolas Cage isn't one of my favorite actors, far from it. But this movie has peaked my interest through the trailer. But so did 'Ghost Rider', and that didn't go so well.

In the movie 'Next' Cage plays a guy who has the ability to see two minutes into the future. This makes him very valuable to the government looking to stop terrorist attacks. Especially when they're about to use a nuke on Los Angeles.

Check out the trailer after the jump.

My wife Sharon LOVES Nicolas Cage. True to form, He was never better than in "Raising Arizona". That movie is kind of the white version of "I'm gonna git you sucka".

Also of note; Nelson has now tolorated (and to often endured) my cult film & music love affair for (Brace yourself) 24 years!
I had to figure that one out.

So let me just say here and now that the movie must see coming out "nowish" is AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE COLON MOVIE FILM for THEATERS.

All morning I've felt to explain what I posted last night.

"Raising Arizona" is a movie about a very stereotyped socioeconomic strata. There are bad guys, and even more stereotypes of lower eschelons ajoining the aformentioned socioeconmic strata.

There are heros, and a fulfillment of overcoming the environment around the people in the story.

Oh, and it's also a DAMN FUNNY Comedy.

I see these as common themes with the movie "I'm Gonna Git you Sucka." Also, it's the kind of movie that the more you watch, the more you notice. Their are layers upon layers of Comedy. After a few times watching it, There is an even deeper apriciation of the production. You'll find yourself quoting and impersonating the characters.

But like I said before, and Nelson will attest; I kinda have a cockeyed way of seeing/processing information. So my observations might be spot on; or way out there. So consider yourself warned! LOL
