The Prince Opus

image This is a special edition iPod that makes the old U2 one look very terrible indeed. It’s part of something called the Prince Opus: 21 Nights, a $2,100 high-end book created by Kraken Opus. Only 950 such iPods will be created, so order now!

On the iPod: 15 Prince songs and a 40-minute movie created by the man himself. The book itself is a 280 page leather bound opus in a velvet covered case. This is a Prince fans dream gift.  Hint hint.

I Told You So!!!

OK...I am normally not the type of person to say I told you so, but let's be real, I am kind of an ass and I am the type to say it. Let's just say that I did know that this would happen. According to Pricegrabber and Tom's Hardware the fact that Blu-ray has won the format wars means one thing. Sony has no competetion to bring down the price on its players anymore. To be exact, it is the only technology that seems to be more expensive the longer it stays out. Imagine that. Well, for everyone that was saying that blu-ray was the way to go, you got your way. I for one am going to keep buying HD-DVD's since they are the only thing actually going down in price and I hope more people do the same. I say that everyone should go out and just out of spite for this apparent money grub by $ony, buy a HD-DVD player for as cheap as you can get one and buy as many cheap movies as you can.

Alienware Packs SSD and HDD In Laptop

I love Alienware!!! They do their absolute best to put out the fastest system that they can, be it desktop or laptop. Granted, they're going to make you pay for it through the nose, but if you got the cake and can afford one, you're going to get a good computer.

Now Alienware is stepping up the game by offering a laptop with SSD and HDD all in one. This gives you the best of both worlds by combining the speed of the SSD (faster bootup and less power consumption) with the higher storage capacity that a standard HDD provides. The option is available on the Area 51 m9750 for $1,150 additional to whatever else you want the laptop to have.

Like I said, you're going to pay for it!!!

Well my friend, your headsets have just arrived. The new Ultimate Ears 11 are one of the most expensive in ear headsets on the market. Coming in at a cool $1150, you get 4 individual speakers inside each ear bud, and they can be custom made to fit the exact shape of your ear.

Want an iphone? Better Be a Baller!!!

Ahhhh...... The first iphone post of the day!!!

If you thought the iphone was expensive just to buy, wait until you add together the data plan and other extras that your gonna need. That's just what Business2 did, and the cost of owning an iphone after two years is..... $2,218.12 plus tax. And that is the cheapest iphone!

Wow!!!

I know that it's not cheap to own a BlackBerry, but I can't imagine that it would cost you this kind of cake to keep one running. But to me, the biggest ripoff comes in the cancellation fee. Most cell phone carriers have cancellation fees to offset selling you the phone at a discount, but there isn't any subsidizing on the iphone, so how are they justifying the $175 cancellation fee?

Clickity Clack for all ups and downs on this entry. [Business2 via Crunchgear]
