As more proof that modding is a good thing, Bejeweled will soon be available as an optional in-game time-passer in Blizzard's mammoth MMO World of Warcraft, and we have Michael Fromwiller to thank for it.
The San Jose State University student decided to shoehorn the addictive PopCap Games puzzler when he was thinking of ways to pass the time during extended raids or long running farming sessions. By creating a crude copy of Bejeweled, Fromwiller got the attention of PopCap Games, who then hired him to create an official localized version specifically for use in the World of Warcraft UI.
Great idea, take one of the most addictive games in the history of the world and make it so you can play the second most addictive game on the planet within the first one. That's like sprinkling crack with heroin and wrapping it it up in a burrito. With extra sour cream.

Halo 3: Crack In A Xbox

In my best Sammy Sosa, "I must apologi" to the readers of this blog.
I've been sucked in by this damn "Halo 3" game, and it hasn't let me go enough to properly give the blog the attention that it needs. I will do my best to post more than what I have in the last several days.
Please forgive me, for I have fragged!!!

Massive Set Up For World of Warcraft

This is what you get when you take a good game, and loose it on the world full of nerds who have lots of money and to much time on their hands.
This setup is designed to control 46 World of Warcraft accounts by only two geeks (one surprisingly is the girlfriend of the other geek). There are 47 PCs, mostly of Shuttles, Small form factors, and QPack with most of them with no hard drives to cut down on power consumption and heat.
I know that there are a lot of WoW fans out there, but this is taking it to a level........ Ah...never mind! I just remembered who I'm talking to.
Hit the jump to see more pics of this insanity. [Gizmodo]
