Latest Trailer For Transformers 2 On Boot Leg

The latest trailer for Transformers 2 can be viewed if you want to go waist your money on Terminator: Salvation. But if you don’t want to part with the $10 to see it, someone was kind enough to record it on a low quality camera and post it on YouTube.

Not sure how long this will be up before it’s taken off. So view it fast.

Transformer 2 Teaser Trailer Debuts During Super Bowl

While you're taking in your hot wings and beer during this years Super Bowl, keep an eye out for the new Transformers 2 teaser trailer. Of course the trailer will be available on-line a few minutes after it debuts in the third quarter. But it will give you a chance to see it first on your big screen, and in HD baby.

Only of course if you have an HDTV.

Transformers 2 Gets Release Date

Usually when a movie that was as successful as the 'Transformers' was, the studios try to get the second movie lined up ASAP. So it was a little strange that there wasn't a release date set for the next installment. Well this manly was due to the June 2008 strike that is looming over the studios, and no one wanting to commit to a date that they couldn't hit.

Well the fears seem to be put to rest, because the 'Transformers 2' has a release date of June 26, 2009. The thought is that they can get most of the filming done before the June 2008 strike deadline.

Update: Michael Bay Back On For Transformers 2

It seems that Michael Bay has sobered up and changed his mind about doing Transformers 2. He quietly removed his original post that he made about being upset about Paramount going exclusively to HD-DVD from his blog, and posted this statement:

"Last night at dinner I was having dinner with three Blu-Ray owners, they were pissed about no Transformers Blu-Ray and I drank the kool aid hook line and sinker. So at 1:30 in the morning I posted - nothing good ever comes out of early am posts mind you - I over reacted. I heard where Paramount is coming from and the future of HD and players that will be close to the $200 mark which is the magic number. I like what I heard.

As a director, I'm all about people seeing films in the best quality possible, and I saw and heard firsthand people upset about a corporate decision.

So today I saw 300 on HD-DVD, it rocks!

So I think I might be back on to do Transformers 2!"

Looks like we are not the only ones who over react to news and post angry thoughts! Well, at least Bay came to his senses on this.
