How Spiderman Should Have Ended

As disappointing as Spiderman 3 was, I have to admit that this made me giggle a little! Stay through the credits, you won't be disappointed.

George Lucas disses Spiderman 3

I think I've read the most ballsy review of a movie in my life. Not because of the review, but because of who is giving it.

George Lucas had the nerve to call Spiderman 3 'Silly' in all of his expertise. He said that he has seen all of the summer blockbusters, since Industrial Light & Magic had done the visual effects for them. All except Spidey, which he then said was 'silly.' Yep. He said it.

What he said in total was this: 'It's silly. It's a silly movie. There just isn't much there. Once you take it all apart, there's not much story, is there?'

Wow!!!

All this from a guy who's been notoriously criticized for not being able to put together a coherent script in, well, just about 30 years.

You think George really didn't like the movie, or is he just bitter that Sony didn't pay him to do the FX for it?

FX webs Spiderman 3

Looks like FX has won the bid over TNT/TBS, USA, and Spike TV for the rights to televise Spiderman 3. No word on what the final price was, but FX might pay upward of $33 million for the rights depending on how well the movie does at the box office.

The cable network will first start running the film in 2009.

Now me being a big fan of 'The Shield', I deal with watching it without HD on FX. But if they're going to have a film that just screams for HD such as Spiderman 3, I think FX needs to step up their signal.

Don't want to see Spiderman 3 on the fuzzy station!!!

New CGI of Spiderman Fails to Impress

Man, the CGI for the new Spiderman film looks like they really need to do a better job. I mean sure it will draw the ever so important toddler demographic; but what about us adults?
