I want one of these badly. And it's a steal at around $500. Check out the capacities on different media:

Panasonic Intros The DMC-FZ18

If you're looking for a digital camera that is a little more than the standard point and click, then take a look at the Panasonic DMC-FZ18. It comes with 8-megapixel camera with 18X optical zoom and a handy little thing called Intelligent Auto Mode, that automatically adjusts the focus on the camera.

I have the 6-megapixel camera with 12X optical zoom version, and I absolutely love it. Great shutter speed and the lens is top notch. This will be out in September in silver or black for $399, very reasonable for everything that you get.

Sigma SD14: Reviewed

Popular Photography's Michael McNamara got his hands over the much-awaited Sigma SD14. It has been three years in the making but was the wait worth it for wondersensor Foveon X3 fans?

Not really!

The SD14 is great at getting amazing RAW pics at ISO 400 or lower, but once you crank up the sensitivity or use JPEG, the quality falls down dramatically. It's still better than the SD9 and the SD10, but Michael says the price is too high "for its image quality and performance."

14X Zoom camera: Stalkers rejoys!!!

For all of you stalkers out there ( you know who you are), we bring you the 14x Spotting Scope digital camera. Most people would mount a zoom lense on a digital camera. You could do it that way, or go the other direction and mount a camera to a zoom lens.

If you're looking for megapixels, you're going to have to go the other way. This only has 3.1-Megapixels, and only has 32MB built-in RAM. But takes standard SD cards, so you can up that memory.

The real point of the camera is the 14x zoom. It’s focal ability gives you the ability to focus on an object just five feet tall at a distance of almost a quarter mile away. Stalkertastic.
