Apple Unveils New iMac

Well it looks like the rumors were dead on, as the Apple store has unveiled the new iMac model with a 3.06GHz Core 2 Duo. They were even nice enough to throw in a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS graphics card with 512MB video RAM, which is the strongest card I’ve even seen in any Apple. Most models start at $1,200, and will include 6MB L2 cache, 1066 MHz front-side bus, and 2GB of RAM. The 24-inchers start at $2,200, but you can get a full terabyte HDD for an additional $250, and 4GB RAM for another $200 clams.

That’ll do Apple, that’ll do.
