Well if you've been looking forward to the new mullet look of NBC's reboot of Knight Rider, you might be a little surprised. The new Knight Industries Two Thousand or KITT will no longer be a Tran Am, but now a Shelby GT500KR Mustang. Now don't get me wrong, I like the new mustang, but Knight Rider without a Trans Am? Just wrong!
Couldn't they come up with a cool Trans Am concept car?
Oh well...... Maybe the acting will be good. Oh who am I kidding.

Seriously folks; I agree with Nelson, The Mustang is a beaut; but it's jut not Kitt on any level.
Well, everybody's gotta love that 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am that jumps on ramps, jumps over fire, has a witty punchline character, and saves one Michael Knight.
