In what could be one of the biggest hacks of all time, the guys at DailyApps have come up with a way to run Apple's famous new OS Leopard on a regular PC.
Now how cool is that!!!
Now to their credit, they state that the hack is in its early stage and all the bugs haven't been worked out. But to have the opportunity to dual boot Leopard and Windows on a PC could change everything. This could be huge for Apple if you consider how many copies of Leopard could be sold because of this.
Now I'm very interested!!!

This is quite awesome; but if you read the whole article; this 'Hack is based on DARWIN, which has been the PC wing of Apple all along.
For years DARWIN has been the evelution of Apple on Apple to Apple on PC. Basically you have to format a partition of your drive for a FREE BSD type of UNIX.
Now having said that, apparently this latest move with Leopard has created the best union of DARWIN and MAC OSX. Believe me; the fact that this happend was probably not an accident. APPLE is poised for another revolution. They probably were gonna wait a bit till they sold all they could to the APPLE crowd, then unleash it on the world. Looks like the enthusiast community who have been working with DARWIN all along knew just how to make it work; and did it before APPLE could. I'd say APPLE will probably be patching LEOPARD quickly so that they can re take command of the coming revolution.
Call me NOSTRADOMUS DAMNIT!
It would make sense for Apple to sell Leopard to the other 97% of the world that use PC. Having a dual booting system would take Apple to the next level. Hey, just selling software OS has worked for Microsoft.
Hell, just last week I was googling around for some flavor OS X.hack that would boot on a PC because I was comparing some linux distros and I'm too cheap to buy a Mac.

Nelson, you are THE MAN for keeping on top of the biggest geeky thing to have happend over ther weekend. Weekends are tough for our contributers due to home/family commitments; but you have really excited folks who read this blog. This is quite possibly the most amazing story to break in the geek community in some time. Thanks for always being there!
