XtremeNotebooks New Xtreme 917V: Bad Ass!

For the quad-core lovers who need to take their gaming on the road, XtremeNotebooks has come out with a workhorse for you. Some how they've crammed a Core 2 quad into processor into a 2.35-inch thick enclosure for the Xtreme 917V, so the first thing I'm thinking is heat, and lots of it. But this baby has a a dedicated GPU cooling solution setup which should help with the load.

According to Engadget, "It has a 17-inch display, dual NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950 GTX GPUs, a dual-layer DVD writer, multicard reader, integrated webcam / speakers, up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM, and room for three 250GB hard drives."

It also has optional TV tuner, gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, and a plenty of ports to make your heart flutter. It only has a 12 cell battery, which only gives you a disappointing 1 hour of unconnected use. This behemoth comes in at 12 pounds and a starting price of $2,399, but I'm sure there are some ballers out there who aren't worried about that.
