The demo for 'Blazing Angels 2' has made it to Xbox Live if you're interested. And I have to agree with G4TV's sarcasm about how this WWII game might be a 'goldmine of gaming inspiration' for other WWII games.
I think that this idea has been beaten to death.

Oh, I dunno. If it works well as an aviation sim, it may have appeal to that market segment.
For my money I've always been disappointed there isn't a good howitzer sim or mortar practice. I'm talking split screen where you have to call in the coordinates without getting your ass blown up by friendlies, and also playing with the big guns themselves. Or wiring demo charges under bridges while being shot at.
