Here is a GPS system I'm not sure if I would want in my car. The Korean-only (for now) Black Eagle GPS can detect decelaration of 1.1G or more, which it would assume you hit something rather hard. It then can record up to 18 seconds of video (12 seconds before impact and 6 after) and reports your speed before the impact, it even has sensors for lane changes.
Somehow I don't think having this incriminating info would be in my best interest.
