For all of you PS3 owners out there looking for the next firmware update, PS3 firmware 1.82 update will be here in a few days. That is according to Playstation.blog, and Director of Playstation Network Operations Eric Lempel.
The update will have the PS3 support Advanced Video Coding (AVC) High Profile, for H.264 and MPEG-4 formats, files. Lempel stated that this update doesn't fix the audio issues that have been discussed on the blog.
