Some stories just write themselves.
Such is the case with this Hummer that happens to have a Laser cannon mounted on top of it. This guy appropriately named The Laser Avenger, was built to destroy road side bombs from afar that "evil doers" setup. The laser is a solid-state direct-energy beam that is invisible, that fires a beam that is only a few centimeters in diameter and is 20 times hotter than an electric stove. Unfortunately you can't pick one of these up yet, as the military hasn't made them available to the public.
That's a shame.
