Man Kills Daughter For Knocking Xbox Over

This is one of the more disturbing stories that I've run across in a while, and if I ever got a chance to meet this guy, it's on!!!

Tyrone Spellman was so into his video game on his Xbox 360, that when his 17 month old daughter knocked it over he punched her in the face until she was dead. Now, maybe it's because I have a 16 month old son, I'm having a hard time making a smart ass comment about this. But if your kid ever knocks over the Xbox, GO BUY ANOTHER F'n XBOX!!!

Don't know whether I want him to go away or not

Everyone has seen that I have posted quite a few comments about Smackywack. Those that hadn't seen other previous posts won't recognize the nickname given to him by one of my favorite gaming webcomics, GU Comics. And as the title says, I don't know if the world would be better if he went away or not. On the one hand, we would have one less self-serving zealot in the world that just screams put me in a straight jacket. But, just like Bill O'Reilly, it is fun every once in a while to have someone to rant about. So why do I mention this? I just read an article over at GamePolitics.com. It seems that Jack is deciding to sue everyone and his mother, just because they disagree with him. It really is a funny article. Also, check out this page of quotes, some of them really show you how nuts he is. You especially have to love the one where he's talking about Sony allowing Grand Theft Auto to be made, by another company mind you (Rockstar & Take Two), by saying "What the Japanese are doing to our kids is insensitive and racist. The Japanese have for a very long time dumped pornography into this country in a fashion they would not tolerate in their own country. It is another version of Pearl Harbor."

And he wonders why they are trying to disbar him.

Jack Thompson Angry About 'BioShock' Ad

Looks like our favorite anti-game violence attorney Jack Thompson is back at it again. This time he's pissed because the makers of 'BioShock' advertised during the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). Thompson feels that this is a 'teen intensive' time slot, and a violent game shouldn't be advertised during the WWE time slot.

Huh?

Stupid Racists Using Forza 2

There always seems to be a few idiots that try to ruin a good thing.

Case in point the morons who are using Forza 2 to create racist decals for the vehicles that they race on Xbox Live. Here's the thing, if you want to trick out your car with racist remarks, then don't bring it on Xbox Live.

On second thought, bring it on Xbox Live so Microsoft can ban your stupid ass!!!

Video game hating Jack Thompson blames Microsoft for Virginia Tech massacre

According to lawyer and anti-gaming activist Jack Thompson, Bill Gates is the reason that Cho Seung Hui went on a killing spree at Virginia Tech. In an open letter sent to Bill Gates, the moron left us with some lovely gems like this:

"Mr. Gates, your company is potentially legally liable the harm done at Virginia Tech. Your game, a killing simulator, according to the news that used to be in the Post, trained him to enjoy killing and how to kill. You knew five years ago that your on-line game, Counterstrike, so clearly figured in the massacre by a student in Erfurt that the event and the game impacted the race for Chancellor in Germany at the time!"

Considering that Valve not Microsoft created Counterstrike, it puts into question the rest of the letter. I guess that Jack is totally ignoring the fact that during the search of the killer's dorm room documented that he had no games in his possession.

I know it's fun and popular to call Microsoft the 'Evil Empire', but I think Bill is in the clear in this instance.
