Sharp's New TV Stand - Home Theather Combo

Once you pick up an HDTV you pretty much think that your job is done once you get it home, until you realize that you don't have a stand to put it on. Well Sharp is out to kill two birds with one stone by combining the stand that you need also with an ass kicking home theater. The Sharp ANPR1000H home theater system not only holds your TV, but puts out 300W of power in a 2.1 sound system form. It has "Audistry" sound reproduction technology by Dolby, DTS, and Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro Logic II Decoder.

But be ready to shell out some good money for this baby because it has a price point of $1099. But I guess if you factor in a stand and a good home theater, it almost comes out to be the same.

Sharp AQUOS Blu-Ray Recorders: 1TB Of Storage

It looks like Sharp is coming out with a different kind of Blu-Ray Player, and taking an angle that I didn't see coming. Sharp announced Blu-Ray recorders with their flagship recorder equipped with a 1TB HDD coming to Japan. The BD-HDW20 has two digital tuners and one analog, and can start recording in under 1 second. It comes in at the low.. low price of $2,620.

But if that is a little much, they also have the BD-HDW15 for $1,750, and comes with 500GB HDD. The other models (BD-AV10 and BD-AV1) don't have HDD's, but do come in different colors.

AQUOS LCD: Gaming At Its Best

Alrighty guys, who ever is the last one of you who hasn't jumped to HD, now is the time. If you're a gamer and you have one of the next generation systems (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) you need a set that will give you your monies worth.

This baby has the goods.

It comes with 1080p and a nifty cool thing called Vyper-Drive which reduces game lag time. It has a MSRP of $1799.99 which is a little steep, but I'm sure that it can be found for less. The guys at G4TV got a chance to play with it, and had some interesting things to say about it.

Sharp's iPod Stereo: all things to all people

If it's compatibility you're after, Sharp's new stereo has you covered on all fronts. In addition to docking with your iPod, the DK-A1H can play MP3s/WMAs, CDs, and even FM/AM radio (remember that?). The stereo has a built-in sub that should provide you with enough audio oomph to fill a studio or a bedroom. It's going for around $300 across the pond.

No word if it has the ability to produce HD radio though.
