BattleTech Returns

In honor of BattleTech's 25th anniversary, Smith & Tinker has authorized MekTek.net and MekTek Studios to distribute MechWarrior 4 (along with its expansion packs) completely free. For years, MekTek.net has been the central point for online distribution of MechWarrior 4 expansion packs. Now they can provide the core game free to the fans as well. I am sooooo excited about this.  I think this is my favorite universe of all time.  Yes, I like BattleTech better than D&D, Star Wars, Star Trek, Warcraft , and even Fallout.  I lied, D&D is my by far favorite, but BattleTech/MechWarrior is a close second.  I’ve been disappointed by a lot of the games since FASA closed shop.  But this looks like the real deal.  But I will be so disappointed if they keep the simplified crap they started doing when FASA closed.
