UFO power strip is out of this world

We already liked the ezSpace UFO power strip released last year, turning one socket into six while leaving room for the clunkiest of adapters. Now there's a wall-mounted version that plugs directly into an AC outlet. Like its earth-bound brandmate, this UFO offers surge protection, and has room for six bulky wall warts, and you can fit your fingers in between.


We'd like to see this $29 UFO in more colors, maybe even that telltale silver color of a real UFO — judging from the company's graphics, it may also be available in white, perfect to blend in with the rest of our bland surroundings. Even though it offers protection for power surges and is convenient and all, it probably looks pretty messy with six plugs inserted. But then, don't we all?
