An uber-geek named Mark Borlase who obviously has more time on his hands than he'd like to admit, put together this Empire Strikes Back Hoth battle out of 60,000 LEGO blocks. Now this geektastic feat took 4 years to complete at a cost of $3000 (and some dates with girls). The Hoth scene that he put together has a motorized AT-AT wenches, 50 LED lights that illuminate the Echo Base hangar, and a fully functional hanger bay door.
As cool as this looks, I'm sure the dating scene had to suffer for Mark while construction was on-going.
