It looking like Circuit City is a step away from the big retailer in the sky. A firm that advises merchandisers if it's a good idea to ship to certain retailers has yanked Circuit City off the list. This pretty much tells those merchandisers that you might not get paid if you ship to Circuit City. This news follows close behind the $239 million loss and seeing their stock fall below 50 cents a share.
Not good....

OK, let the record show that I never worked for Circuit City. So I didn't jinx them. But to be honest, the writing has been on the wall for them for the past few years. Most analysts had them going out before CompUSA (OK, I killed them). And to be honest, the only way I ever go to CC is when I am just looking for a best price on something I'm gonna buy anyway. Even when I was buying my new TV after the theft of the old one, I tried my hardest to shop there, but it always ends up a sour experience.
Glad I didn't buy the extended warranty with my HDTV there.
