Xbox 360 To Get 60GB HDD & Blu-Ray Drive?

A trusted insider has told Trusted Reviews that Microsoft will put a 60GB HDD in the Xbox 360 instead of the current 20GB. It is also rumored that a Blu-Ray drive will also accompany the new remastered Xbox 360's. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has added more fuel to this rumor by saying "Toshiba has moved on. We've moved on, and we'll support Blu-ray in ways that make sense."

It's also said that Microsoft plans on making an external Blu-ray drive for us early adopters of the system. This makes sense from Microsoft's stand point, because it would remove the only advantage that the PS3 has over the 360. Well one of the advantages that the PS3 has, as the PS3 isn't known to have a 30% failure rate.

And I think that's on the low side.

Sorry, you're reading the bitter memoirs of a guy who just sent his red ringed Xbox 360 back to Microsoft today!
