If you're pretty serious about your camera, and don't mind spending the money for a good one; Sony has unveiled their newest DSLR. The A700 has a 12.2-megapixel Exmor sensor, and works with all of Sony's lenses and most of Minolta Maxxum mount lenses. It also comes with an HDMI out to view pictures on something larger than its 3.5 inch screen, and uses Memory Stick Duo and CF cards.
The price will set you back a cool $1,400, and that doesn't include a lens. For another $100 you can pick up the 18-70mm lens kit, and if you're a real baller you can get the 16-105mm for only $500.
