Microsoft Extending Windows XP Deadline

It's turning out that Vista is becoming the Windows ME of the decade. With Microsoft announcing that they will continue to sell and support Windows XP until the end on June 2008, certainly doesn't give Windows Vista a vote of confidence. Microsoft had previously planed on phasing out XP by January 2008, but with Vista having issues, they've had to push that date back 5 months.

So if you're interested in still owning XP, you have less than a year to pick it up. I think Microsoft better drop SP1 for Vista soon to salvage what ever they can, or chuck it out the window (no pun intended).
