Just to keep ya'll updated. As of last night, my Shuttle XPC just achieved a 5.6 Vista Experience Score. I've got the Dual Core E660 humming along at 2.88 Ghz, and there has not been a significant jump in heat yet. I love this case. From the looks of it, with this processor and barebones combo, I should be safely in the 3.o Ghz range. I haven't started tweaking the memory or video card yet, but those are next. I think this weekend we'll break the 3 gig barrier then I'll work on the video card next. That is the only other component at 5.6. I think I can get about another 10 to 15% more out of it. Also, looking on the boards, I should be able to safely put my memory timing at 4-4-4-12, instead of 5-5-5-15. But I'll have to research that. 2 gig memory sticks aren't cheap.
