Interview With Jeff Reents: Xbox 360 Co-Creator

If you have an Xbox 360 or if you're just a fan of the system, Jeff Reents who helped create the system gives an interview with Xbox 360.com. Some of the most interesting stuff about the 360, such as the safety features to GPU and CPU information that you might be interested in.

Some of the little thing that went into the design such as the hacker deterrent that was put in was interesting. And you get an answer as to why Wi-Fi was not built into the Xbox 360, which is good stuff.

Thanks Fred for this.

I would like to be able to see a very detailed pic of the guts of the 360. I do have a question. It's my understanding that the power box is now outside of the chassis. Obviously, this is done to 1.)primarily remove thermal problems, and 2.) secondary, to save room. i.e. you can put the large transformer box behind your entertainment center to hide it.
Is one the biggest reasons for 360 damage still thermal issues anyhow?
