Good way to buy...errr..woo subscribers

It looks like the developers for the upcoming PvP MMORPG, Fury, has come up with a unique way of trying to pry gamers from the current head honcho of online MMO crack dealers, World of Warcraft, by launching with a $1 million dollar ($844,000 US) tournament. Complete tournament entry information--including the exact nature of the tournament and where to download the free prelaunch client for the game--will be available from August 14 at Fury's official website, with Auran (the developer) expecting up to 600,000 players worldwide to participate. Well I can't think of a better way for a company to try and get people to try the game, and beta test at the same time. I'm not a huge PvP fan, but with most people starting out on an even setting, I may give it a try. Plus if you can roshambo someone like the above picture in the game, I think its a must have.

Thanks to Gamespot for the info. More details here.
