Looks like the Wii may be getting more publishing support. That's according to Lazard Capital Markets analyst Colin Sebastian who issued a report on the console.
His thought is that most publishers must sell about 300,000 copies to break even for the Wii, compared to 600,000 copies for the PS3/Xbox 360. This combination along with the mass appeal and price point of the Wii makes it very attractive to third party publishers to create games for it.
It seems that gamers may not be so concerned about the high definition game graphics that Sony and Microsoft may have thought. Good game play and fun controllers appear to be the way to go.
Well, at least it seems that the Wii isn't going to go the way of the GameCube.

I know the Wii controller is gimmicky, maybe even fun for some folk; but for me, the GameCube was the best controller I ever used. they fit my hands well, all the buttons, analog stick, and everything else flat out just felt right. In the heat of playing any sort of game, everything the GameCube's controller offered was COMPLETELY second nature. If their new Wii could also use the old GameCube control; I'd be a much happier dude.
It can use it, but only for gamecube games. Wii games need the motion sensors, otherwise it's gimmick wouldn't work.
And yes, the cube controller was definitely among the best, and the Wavebird made it even better.
