Price Drop For PS3 Next Week?

All the rumored price break for the PS3 have come and gone with nothing to show for it. Well there is another rumor that might hold some weight to it, be it that it comes from an anonymous source. But word has it that the price of the PS3 will be dropping next week to $499, possibly being announced at the E3 convention.

Speculation comes from a scanned 'Circuit City' ad paper that an anonymous source provided. The anonymous merchandising manager said that it was issued by Sony and that it will be across all major retailers. Again this is all speculation, and with how good people are with Photoshop, I would take it all with a grain of salt.

But if true, this should come as welcomed news to gamers who are on the fence about the PS3, and with the infusion of games due out later this year, it should help sales of the console.
