I would think a company like LucasArts would take things like "leaks" very seriously. So it's surprising that on their website, LucasArts messed up and "leaked" the new design for the Sony Sixaxis controller while promoting the new Star Wars game 'The Force Unleashed'.
The design looks similar to the Xbox 360 setup, and rumor has it that they're bringing back the rumble feature that everyone loves.
But Sony isn't saying a word, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I must say, it looks attractive; and I would think it would be pretty functional; except for the Sixaxis part.
Tell me if any of you have this thought crossing your mind. I don't always sit still in a chair when I play my console video game. Sometimes, I'm laying in bed, or in another area of my house; but what's important here is (Correct me if I'm wrong) I don't always hold the controller parallel to the ground. Gravity has got to be a part of this equation; and if I move in bed for example, I have no idea what the Sixaxis is going to do. It's my understanding that tipping the controller either down to the left, or down to the right, while having the controller level is the way you play with this controller. I want options; just like the Wii controller. Sorry about the rant; I just don't understand.
Very few games use the Sixaxis function, and I couldn't tell you how it works. But I'm not into the motion sensing controllers like the Wii and the Sixaxis. Maybe because I'm not use to it, or don't think it's that important to the game play. I like the rumble function, but after that, just give me a good controller.
