Sony announced at their media event a new PSP due out in September.
Sony revamped their PSP portable, and gave it better quality video output signal to televisions, and made it thinner and lighter. How much lighter? How about 33% lighter, 19% slimmer than the previous version. They also are showing off some new colors, like Ice Silver and White. The Ice Silver comes with 1gig memory card and the game 'Daxter', and 'Family Guy Frickin' Sweet Collection' on UMD. The White version is a Star Wars themed unit that comes with 'Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron' but that is not due out until October.
