Kanguru's Green External Drives

If you're into energy saving external drives, than Kanguru has just what you need.

Their new Eco Drive line of power-saving external hard drives have hit the street, and they have three power saving modes that can reduce energy consumption up to 75%. It's also Eco friendly due to the RoHS compliance, which means that minimal hazardous material was used to make it. Other than that, it's standard stuff with the HDD coming in sizes between 80GB to 750GB and costing from $95 to $350.

So if you're into keeping the world green, you might want to check these out.

I have a non "energy saving" external from which my wife and i can back up over a terabyte.

I bring this up because I would love to help save energy; but this wasn't on the market yet. I write my admiration because I want people to hear my testimony that external drives change a lot of your habits if used as much and for as many purposes you can. Big ups!!
