AT&T Offers Free WiFi: For A Price

AT&T is hooking you up!!!

Well, kinda.

If you're an AT&T customer and you have Pro, Elite and FastAccess service, you can access any of AT&Ts 10,000 hotspot's around the country for free.

That's right baby!!!!

Many of AT&Ts hotspot's are located in airports, coffee shops, McDonald's and Barns & Noble bookstores. So as you can see, that is quite a few places, and pretty handy if you travel. If you have a service that is below these two, you can get the free hotspot service for $1.99 a month.

Doesn't sound so free does it?

Check it out after the jump. [Yahoo news via Crunchgear]

Inherently I have trepidation about such a revolutionary idea, that couldn't be easy to deploy, and the low cost just has me, I dunno, in disbelief.
