This will have to sit in the rumor bin for now, but we're going to put our faith in the Crunchgear guys sources at Apple and run with it. Their sources are pretty reliable.
They have heard rumors of the 6G version of ipod due out next month, and from what I'm hearing, it sounds good. The next generation is rumored to have a huge HD and have a wide touchscreen similar to the iphone.
It is also said to have 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity. For YouTube downloads perhaps?
Just remember to take all of it with a grain of salt.

That pic you've got there is an ollllld fake video iPod. After it was released and rumors started flying, there was a video showing how this fake was pshoped and the resulting rumor blossom. Funny stuff.
Yeah, I knew that Apple didn't have a leaked photo out there. The picture is just for effect, and not to be taken seriously. But the story is legit.
