Nokia Announces 6500 In Two Flavors

Nokia announced two versions of the mid-range 6500 and I believe you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The ‘Classic’ version is a simple candybar style that’s fairly thin at 9.5mm, that comes in a brownish anodized aluminum that looks cool. The Classic has a 2-megapixel camera, 1GB of internal storage (yeah baby!!!), microUSB slot, Bluetooth and it runs on quadband GSM with UMTS.

The ‘Slide’ ups the ante with an autofocus Carl Zeiss 3.2-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, microSD slot, integrated FM radio and TV out.

Both versions of the 6500 will be available in Q3.

Check out the press release after the jump.
