
The iPhones inability to sync with current corporate email servers is causing trouble for the 9 to 5 crowd.
Based on a report from the Wall Street Journal, changes which compromise the security of email servers or expensive overhauls are the only known solutions at the moment. A suggested step for Apple would be to provide software which would allow the iPhone to act as a virtual Windows Mobile or Blackberry device.
I had a feeling that this would be the case. There are many business users who really would love to own an iphone, but will be restricted by Apples third party issues.
Note to Apple: If you want some of that BlackBerry market, you better open the iphone applications up.
