This past Friday Bungie unveiled Halo 3 to the press in what some are calling 'a much needed killer app' for Microsoft's Xbox 360. The upcoming first-person shooter is the latest title in the popular Halo series, and the most awaited!!!
Previews for the game were staged in New York and San Francisco in advance of the public beta test of the game, which will go live this coming Wednesday.
While some are saying that Halo 3 offers new advancements including improved and vastly more realistic physics, some attendees felt the graphics still have a way to go to be true “next gen.”
Microsoft's hope is that this will be the game that pushes the Xbox 360 to the 'next level' in sales. I think that a lot of hype has been pushed on this game, and it will be very hard for it to live up to it.
