Westinghouse 52 inch 1080p for $2,499

Westinghouse isn't known for their HDTVs, but they are trying to get your attention with their price. The new Westinghouse TX-52F480S LCD HDTV is due out this September and will be listed at $2,499. You would be hard pressed to find a 42 inch LCD 1080p HDTV at that price. A similarly sized top line Sharp Aquos will run you $4500, and that's a bargain for that size of a LCD.

The Westinghouse claims a response time of 6.5 milliseconds, which is not bad for what they're calling a 'budget HDTV'.

If you're in the market but don't want to spend the kids college fund, you might want to take a look at Westinghouse and their complete lineup after the jump.
