If you've had a chance to see the Discovery Channel series 'Planet Earth' you know how amazing it is. This show was made for High Definition TV and it brings it out like no other broadcast show. It took 5 years to make, and it shows parts of our world that are unbelievable; and all in lovely HD.
Well Discovery Channel is releasing it on Blu-Ray and HD-DVD, and according to Hi-Def Digest this is a must own if you have either format. They state that "neither format showed the type of compression artifacts that we have come to live with from sat or cable and that both versions outshine the broadcast version you may have already seen."
Well when I get off the fence about which format to buy, I know which HD show I'm going to buy first!!!
